Project Management:

Projects are managed utilizing the leading edge software in the construction industry.  

WinEst® from Win Estimating is used to automate takeoffs for building construction. 

WinPipe® from Wendes Systems is used to automate mechanical takeoffs.

Primavera Expedition® is used to manage a project from the Notice Of Award to Final Acceptance.  Submittals, Transmittals, Purchase Orders, Contracts, Delivery Tickets, and Daily Reports are all integrated into one program, which allows issues to be tracked and appropriate actions to be taken to prevent costly delays.  Expedition is interfaced with and updates Totem’s scheduling program, Surtrak®.

Primavera Suretrak® enables everyone on the project team a clear picture of the schedule, their activities and how their activities are affect the overall projects.  Scheduling is also improved utilizing e-mail.  When the schedules are set-up, resources are assigned to activities and its responsible party.  When the schedule requires an update, the resources are e-mailed a list of their activities and are requested to update their activities using a few buttons.  The e-mail is then returned to Totem and the schedule is updated from the responses.  Consequently, the schedules are up to date using input from the subcontracts.  As a result the projects are completed on time.
